Steridox Chlorine Dioxide Gas Sterilizer

Rapid, ambient-temperature chlorine dioxide gas sterilization for medical devices, laboratories, and research environments.

The Steridox is a chlorine dioxide (CD) gas sterilizer designed for use in pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical device production, laboratory, and research settings. Available in a wide range of chamber sizes—from multiple cubic feet to full pallet-scale systems—it provides a flexible and validation-ready solution for in-house sterilization.

  • Rapid, ambient-temperature sterilization
  • Validation-ready process control and data logging
  • Scalable chamber sizes from small loads to multiple pallets
  • Compatible with sensitive materials and electronics
  • Designed to support in-house sterilization strategies
STERILIZATION THAT SUPPORTS CONTROL, FLEXIBILITY, AND VALIDATION

Chlorine dioxide gas sterilization provides an effective alternative to traditional ethylene oxide (EtO) processes without the liabilities associated with explosive or carcinogenic sterilants.

The Steridox-14 utilizes a rugged industrial control system and is constructed of corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel for long service life in demanding environments. Sterilization cycles are typically completed in a matter of hours, and all processing occurs within a single sealed chamber that can be safely located within existing facility spaces.

For manufacturers seeking to bring sterilization in-house, the Steridox-14 eliminates the need for damage-limiting construction, Class I Division 1 electrical installations, and extensive aeration rooms required by EtO systems

ADVANCED PROCESS MONITORING AND DATA CONTROL

The Steridox-14 features a sophisticated real-time photometric chlorine dioxide concentration monitoring system that allows for tightly controlled and repeatable sterilization cycles.

This system supports consistent process control and simplifies validation by providing accurate concentration measurement throughout each cycle. Upon completion, a comprehensive run record is generated that includes cycle date, time, steps, temperature, pressure, and chlorine dioxide concentration.

Run data can be electronically logged using the integrated USB and SD card interfaces, with optional printed run records available. Historical and real-time trending of cycle data is supported through a password-protected recipe management system. All instrumentation can be calibrated to traceable standards.
