Embracing Our Emotions in the Workplace

It’s normal to experience emotions at work: frustration, anxiety, anger, fear, excitement, and joy, to name a few. However, how leaders handle these feelings can be crucial to building up or wearing down employees. And leaders must develop the ability to regulate their own emotions and the emotional well-being of their team members, to help reduce the levels of negative and useless emotions in the workplace.

During this session, we will discuss emotional management skills and how to achieve psychological well-being in the workplace without the need to “leave your emotions at the door.” The focus will be on leading your team with emotional intelligence with the aim of achieving cooperation, connection, and collaboration resulting in a more emotionally healthy workplace.
