Plenums

As a standard feature, vertical air supply and exhaust plenums are located on opposite sides of the rack, ideal for rack-mounted blowers or for racks that are connected directly to the HVAC.  

For applications where wall mounted blowers are used, vertical plenums can be located on the same side of the rack as an optional feature.   
In any case, be sure to consult with those responsible for the HVAC design and integration of the IVC rack systems for the best solution for your room configuration.

Easy Connect Lock

The Micro-Barrier Housing System is secured to the air/ water connection by the standard Easy Connect Lock Mechanism.

Allows the operator to continually use both hands on the cage body when engaging and disengaging the Easy Connect Lock Mechanism.

Flip Lock

The flip-style cage lock offers a durable, economical alternative to our standard E-Z lock mechanism. Molded in high strength Radel® the Flip-lock fits all applications that require a cage lock. The high visibility red providesat-a-glance verification of correct cage installation and alignment .

• Autoclavable to 204.4ºC
• Simple replacement (two nuts) and alignment
• Lock travels 90º for positive engagement
• Spring induced tension maintains lock position.

Casters & Wheels

Caster sets are standard plate mounted. Plate-mounted casters fit within the overall profile of the rack for a smaller footprint, while stem-mounted casters are preferred when ordering optional bumpers. Wheels are available on either caster with a standard 12.7cm diameter or optional 20.3cm diameter. Larger wheels roll with less effort, but result in greater overall rack height.

Bumpers & Handles

To improve ease of handling, optional handles can be installed on either end of the IVC rack.   The IVC rack is very rugged, and is not prone to damage, however, to protect walls, doors, and other equipment from collisions when moving the rack, optional bumpers can be ordered.
