Positive Ventilation
Micro-VENT Systems
Micro-VENT full ventilation environmental rodent housing systems are designed to provide High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) at low velocities into both Micro-Barrier mouse and rat housing units and capture effluent air escaping from the cage.

Air Flow
The Micro-VENT system maintains a consistent air exchange within the micro environment to eliminate the effects of ammonia, CO2 and humidity build-up by introducing the HEPA filtered air into the housing system.
The Micro-VENT system is additionally designed to capture the effluent air from each cage as it escapes through the perimeter of the Micro-Barrier System.
The Micro-VENT system utilizes a "U" channel that guides the cage into position as well as providing a channel to capture dust, dander and cage particulate emanating from the cage, preventing them from entering the macro room environment.
