Positive/Negative Ventilation
Cages WITHOUT Locks
The Allentown P/NC IVC system allows users to select the pressure mode on the exhaust blower, and the entire rack of cages can run at either a positive or negative cage environment on the entire rack. Both supply and exhaust air are always HEPA filtered, for protection of animals and staff, in either operation mode. The rack is extremely sturdy, with typical Allentown workmanship and quality.

Airflow
In either positive or negative operating mode,
the airflow will always follow the same path, eliminating the
risk of contamination. HEPA-filtered airflow is delivered to the cage via twin air distribution "bullets", washing across the cage floor. Exhaust air is removed via two spring-loaded exhaust ports. Cage environment is positive or negative to the room, depending on the exhaust blower setting, allowing use for either isolation or containment.
