Allentown is committed to the preservation of our global environment through the GREEN INITIATIVE, where we follow the core conservation values of reduce, reuse and recycle, and attest to our environmental responsibilities through a carefully considered Environmental Management System - or EMS.

An EMS is a set of processes and practices that enable an organization to reduce its environmental impact and increase its operating efficiency. Most EMS are built upon the "Plan, Do, Check, Act" model, and as the first, "Plan" step in its EMS, Allentown has prepared and attested to an EMS Policy Statement to outline objectives and set expectations.

• Stainless steel and plastic products with a very high recyclable material content
• Long-life product durability that greatly limits the need for replacement material
• Air delivery products that feature the lowest energy requirements in the industry, allowing for more efficient operation and reduced energy consumption

Manufacturing Process:

• Treatment and recycling of manufacturing process water
• Reduction of compressed air operating pressure to reduce energy usage
• Separation of first use material drops for use in future manufacturing
• Recycling of all copper (electrode) tips

Facilities and Shipping:

• Upgrade to high efficiency fluorescent lighting
• Installation of low flow commodes to reduce water usage
• Installation of waterless urinals to reduce water usage
